Who we are
Connect to One is a service that matches up disabled Cleveland-area individuals looking for one-on-one friendships and dating relationships.
We operate a private and secure database that allows users to create a profile and browse the directory for people with similar interests and lifestyles. Users can place requests to meet people they would like to get to know — and we’ll arrange the first meeting.
This service is free to disabled adults who are eighteen years of age (or older). Any person living in a group home, with parents or independently is welcome to participate.
A word from our founder
I am the father of a son with special needs. Despite the significant growth of social programs for people with special needs, the majority of them focus on group activities, and not one-on-one connections. I started Connect to One because I sensed a need for a service that fosters one-on-one friendships and relationships between disabled individuals. It is my hope that Connect to One will be able to adequately meet that need.
