If you are interested in becoming a part of the Connect to One network, simply fill out an application.
After we’ve reviewed it and verified its truthfulness, we will publish your profile in the directory. The Connect to One directory is password-protected, so only authorized members can access your information.
Once your profile has been published, other members can view it and place a request to meet you. You can also search the directory and place requests to meet others.
Our team will process these requests within a week’s time. After we’ve extended the invitation from a person looking to meet you, you can either accept or reject their offer. You can use their Connect to One profile as the basis for your decision. If you decide to accept the invitation, we will mediate between both parties to arrange a time and place for you to meet each other.
Connect to One does not mediate relationships beyond the initial introduction of two Connect to One members. While the Connect to One team will make every effort to encourage members to keep their commitments, our team cannot vouch for the reliability of either party.

I was surprised to learn this service is free. Is there a catch?
We intend to hold fund-raisers and charge a membership fee in the future — but since we are still in the beginning stages of building our service, we have chosen to operate free of charge.
I do not have a mental handicap, but I am physically disabled. Can I still participate in this website?
Yes. Our database will allow you to search the directory by location, age and disability. If you’re looking to connect with someone who is similarly handicapped, we want to be able to introduce you.
What if I enjoyed meeting a person I met through your website and want to hang out with that person again?
That is between you and your new acquaintance. We do not mediate friendships or relationships beyond the initial introduction.
Your Privacy
As a way of protecting your privacy and keeping you safe, we only allow users to post their first name and last initial. We do not allow users to publish their addresses, phone number or emails on their website.
